Continuing what I started last year, I’ll post about what I’m doing in my Birthday..

Just to make a recap:

1. Last year I was one day away of taking part on the Ribeirinhos Project – and it was awesome! More on that here.

2. I read the book Praise Habit by David Crowder and took notes all over it – really, really awesome!

This year…

I’ve been in Germany for about 10 months. 1 month from now I’ll have finished the intermediate level of German – what a victory! In march we’ll start the Flechas Para As Nações Project, in Brazil.

Today, as a coincidence, I was schedule to preach at the church, and I believe it went well. I shared about Caleb’s life and how God’s promises always remain strong in our lives.

Yep… God is faithful!

Before I start, I want to apologize, because it’s been more than a month since I came here last! I’m really sorry!

In the last week of 2009 I went to Doetinchem, in Holland to join a missionary gethering, and it was awesome! We had the presence of brother Andrew, found of Open Doors, and writer of the book God’s Smuggler, who shared a blessed word with us! I went to help some Brazilians with the translation English-Portuguese. Those were blessed days. Here are some photos:

Already in 2010 we started a service in Heerlen, also in Holland. There are many latin brothers that live there and are members of our church, who come every Sunday, and we had the desire of starting a service there for many months. Tomorrow we’ll have another one and, initially, we’ll have one service every 2 weeks, until we’re able to do it every week. Please pray for this project as well!

Here are some photos of our first latin service in Heerlen:

Meanwhile…

This week the 8th Missionary Week is happening at Cidade de Sião, promoted by my church in Brazil. There are about 140 young people from many parts of Brazil present! In March we’ll start the Flechas Para as Nações Project – a full-time missionary training school. To know more, you can visit the website (still under construction and only in Portuguese for now).

I want to ask you to pray for this project and for some other decisions I’ll have to make early this year. As soon as I have more information I’ll post it here!

God bless!

Missions’ Conference

Conferência Missionária

This weekend we had our first Missions’ Conference for Youth in Aachen. We had the participation of a band from Stuttgart and also from pastor Isaac Liu, the son of “brother Yun” (the “Heavenly Man“, as he is known). And it was awesome!

We had only three meetings (Saturday evening, Sunday morning and evening), but each meeting was very special! In each of them we could learn more about missions and also hear a little bit about the history of some Christians in China. On Sunday morning we could also bless the German church and the brothers that serve there. It was great to be in a service together with them! Also, some people surrendered their lives to Jesus and many were very blessed! God is faithful!

Meanwhile…

Today I got the results from the test I made and, thank God, I passed and have finished the Basic Level in the German Course! This week I’ll start already the Intermediate Level! This conference was also a test for me, since we only had translation in the last message… and I could understand almost the whole message… onde again: God is faithful!

Today we launched semi-officially the website of Projeto Flechas Para as Nações. It’s still very simple, but you can find out a little bit more about the project. (sorry… we only have it in English for now).

At the end of the month I’ll go to England, with some guys here from our church, to attend the Open Heart Conference. It’s a ministry focused on missions, youth and worship. It’ll be only for a weekend, but I’m sure it will be awesome! Please pray for that as well!
