Ribeirinhos Project 2009

We’re in our last days of preparation to our trip to Santarém (northern Brazil), where we’ll do missions amidst the riverside population – our Projeto Ribeirinhos Para Cristo (Riverside Population For Christ). 6 days to go!

Last Sunday morning we went to Comunidade Shamah where my mom preached and I shared a little about missions. The church also prayer for Abel, Gabriela, Yan and Gabriel, who’ll go with us in the project.

Later that day we went to Igreja Prebiteriana de Vila da Penha to talk about the project and we had an awesome time there. Elaine, Yan and myself shared a little mor about the mission project.

On both services they took up an offering for the Project, and we’re very close to our financial goal.

Today we had on last meeting where we prayed, talked and ministered to one another. It was great!

We’re very anxious! We believe that God will make wonders on these days!

Next Tuesday we’ll travel and come back on the 14th – we’re really excited!
