A couple hours from now we’ll be going to Cidade de Sião (City of Zion) to start our 1st Missionary Week of 2009! We’re just finishing organizing some stuff… it’ll be awesome!

In one of our Missons’ Services our youth did the skit of Lifehouse’s song Everything that got famous on YouTube through this video. I wasn’t here at the time, but Bianca passed it to me and asked me to put it on YouTube. I took the time and edited it a little, putting the original song on top of it so that we could get better soung -- and got goosebumps while watching the video, which I had seen so many times already! God is awesome! Enough talking… here’s the video:
From next week on we’ll have two Missionary Weeks together in the Cidade de Sião (City of Zion) – the first one only for youth and the second open to everyone. We already have quite a number of people enrolled from other churches in Rio and also some from other states. This is the first time we do one week right after another and with so many people from outside – and we’re sure that it’ll be a blessing! We’re really excited!
Apart from that, we had a missions service at Comunidade Shamah to talk a little bit more about the Ribeirinhos Project. Elaine talked a little about her work in Bolivia and I talked about my work in East Timor and also preached a short message. We’d planned to go to this Project in October, but we postponed it to February, but God knows everything… at His time we’ll go and it’ll be awesome!
