Registering in the City

// April 17th, 2009 // No Comments » // Germany, Missions

Hey everyone!

I’m just stopping by to tell you that this week I’ve registered myself in the city, and have started the Visa process, and God willing I’ll get a long one so that I don’t need to worry about it, at least for a few months – please pray for that!

I also bought a SIM Card for my Cell – I have already a contact number in Germany. I won’t put it here, but I’ll give everyone in the next Prayer Letter, ok?

The German course is going awesome, thanks to God! I’m already able to understand a few things and have started going around by myself in the city (the cellphone chip I bought speaking in German – cool, huh?) and, God willing, I’ll be able to speka soon enough, so I can start making more friends. ;)

Also…

I’ve just the news at G1 (globo.com – Brazilian website) talking about the heavy rains at Pará (Northern Brazil). Alter do Chão, one of the places we visited during the Ribeirinhos Project, is underwater because some rivers are overflowing, and it seems that many families are suffering because of that. Let’s pray so that this situation won’t escalate and that everything will go well with those communities.

God bless!
