Transform World Brazil – Transform Niterói

So many things happened this last few weeks that I had no time to come post something here. But better late than ever, right?
Josh and Claudinha were here in Rio for a few days and it was really cool! We could catch up on a lot of things, besides sharing about our future plans. They also shared at my church a little more about the Timor Project – what happened and what’s about to happen. It was also great because they could get to know Bianca – my girlfriend – better. After all, they heard so much about here when we were in Timor.
The following week I went to São Paulo to participate on Transform World Brazil 2008. I went with my dad and we met Josh there. Those were really great days. I was impacted by some of the messages, in particular in the Focus Group about Transformation through the New Generation, with Ap. Dawidh Alves and Ap. Paulo Tércio – big blessing! In the last day we had a time of worship with Diante do Trono – a ministry from a big church in Brazil. Really good! During the event, little by little, I got involved with interpreting (even an Indonesian brother – maybe next time I’ll translate from Bahasa… who knows?) and, in the last day I interpreted a brother from Uganda, who was sharing about the Model of Transformation of his country. That was good training for Niterói de Joelhos (Bow Down Niterói). I even got a T-shirt!
A few days later we had in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro another conference about Transformation: Niterói de Joelhos (Bow Down Niterói). And it was awesome! Great things happened there… many of which we’re still about to find out. I also worked with transating pr. Labam Jjumba, also from Uganda, besides ministering on a few of the worship moments. I just couldn’t enjoy it as much because I got a flu as a consequence of the really heavy rain that fell on our city on the 17th. But I’m all better now!
Soon we’ll have more details about the Ribeirinhos Project (among the poor communities in the Amazon Jungle). Stay tuned!
Maromak fo bensaun!
